Digestive Complete is a comprehensive enzyme complex formulated to support efficient digestion and nutrient absorption throughout the GI tract. A broad spectrum of enzymes, including protease, amylase, lipase, and pepsin, helps break down proteins, carbohydrates, and fats into absorbable components. Complementary actives, including betaine HCl (to promote a more acidic gastric environment), ox bile (to aid fat emulsification and absorption), and supportive botanicals (gentian, dandelion, fennel), round out the formula for everyday digestive comfort. Evidence from randomized and controlled studies suggests multi-enzyme blends can reduce post-meal bloating and support digestive comfort, while mechanistic and clinical literature supports roles for bile salts in lipid digestion and betaine HCl in gastric re-acidification.

How to use

Take two capsules with each meal, or as directed by your healthcare professional. If you have a history of peptic or duodenal ulcer, are pregnant or nursing, or take medication, consult your healthcare professional before use. Maintain adequate hydration with meals.

Key ingredients
  • Broad-Spectrum Enzyme Blend (porcine: protease, amylase, lipase, pepsin) — assists the breakdown of proteins, carbs, and fats to support digestive comfort and nutrient availability; recent RCTs show multi-enzyme formulas can acutely reduce post-meal bloating in healthy adults.
  • Betaine HCl — supplemental gastric acid that can temporarily lower gastric pH in pharmacologically induced low-acid conditions, supporting protein digestion.
  • Ox Bile — source of bile salts that emulsify dietary fats, facilitating lipase action and fat-soluble nutrient absorption.
  • L-Taurine — conditionally essential amino sulfonic acid involved in cellular energy metabolism and mitochondrial function.
  • Gentian (Gentiana), Dandelion (Taraxacum), Fennel (Foeniculum) — traditional bitters and carminatives with emerging human and mechanistic data for GI support (gastric secretions, motility, and comfort).
